Movie Screening

Join us for a movie screening and educational discussion of ‘Saying Goodbye: Preparing for Death,’ Chapter 2 from the When You Die movie series. This event aims to facilitate open conversations about end-of-life matters and provide valuable insights into the process of saying goodbye.
Don’t worry if you missed Chapter 1, ‘In the Realm of Death and Dreaming’; Chapter 2 stands alone for your enjoyment.
Tickets are available for purchase, and all proceeds will go towards supporting Last Call: An End of Life Festival.

Death Over Dinner
August 8, 2024 6pm-8pm Cryano’s Cafe
Death Over Dinner is a unique gathering that aims to foster open and meaningful conversations about death and dying in a supportive and comfortable environment. Participants come together over a shared meal to discuss various aspects of mortality, including end-of-life preferences, funeral arrangements, legacy, and more.
During the event, guests are encouraged to engage in guided conversations facilitated by prompts and discussion topics provided by the hosts.
Tickets proceeds go towards supporting Last Call: An End of Life Festival.

The Read in Peace Book Club is hosted by Kelly Tecklenburg at Neighborhood Reads in Washington, MO. Exploring books and embracing death positive conversations that inspire us to be more conscious of our day-to-day living.

CEU Event
September 18, 2024 9am – 12pm St. Lukes
We are delighted to announce a continuing education event in partnership with Gateway End-of-Life Coalition! This session offers a unique opportunity to earn 3 continuing education units while delving into the topic of ethics at the end of life. For a cost of $15, attendees will receive breakfast along with the option to obtain CEUs. We look forward to welcoming you for this enriching and informative event.
