The Last Call Death Over Dinner for 2023 was a great success. We are beyond excited to host our next Death over Dinner August 8, 2024.
Death Over Dinner is a unique gathering that aims to foster open and meaningful conversations about death and dying in a supportive and comfortable environment. Participants come together over a shared meal to discuss various aspects of mortality, including end-of-life preferences, funeral arrangements, legacy, and more.
During the event, guests are encouraged to engage in guided conversations facilitated by prompts and discussion topics provided by the hosts. These conversations often lead to deep reflections, personal insights, and connections with others who share similar experiences or perspectives.
When you buy your ticket, be sure to include details like if you are attending with family/friends and your intention for joining in the dinner conversation. The Last Call volunteers will send you some materials prior to the event to help get the conversations started. There will be a volunteer at each table to help keep the conversation along if necessary.
All proceeds will go towards supporting Last Call: An End of Life Festival.
